Henry Rosenfeld was a legendary figure in the world of fashion who had founded a company during World War || with the premise that wealthy women could wear inexpensive clothes that would still be as chic as designer outfits.
Rosenfeld apparently first met Marilyn in 1949 when she was in New York to promote Happy Love and they allegedly had an affair. It was also rumoured that for several months Rosenfeld provided small sums for Marilyn Monroe Productions, a company Marilyn and Milton Greene set up in 1954.
